Mobile stables for paddock or yard

Offering the option to move stables from one location to another and with the potential to avoid the need for planning consent** mobile stables are a flexible stabling option. On galvanised metal or pressure treated timber skids, the stable can be moved by tractor or 4x4 (terrain dependent).

Reposition stables with our mobile stable blocks

Avoiding the need for groundworks, a mobile stable is a quick option to get stables installed. Renting land or need additional flexible stables? A mobile stable block can be moved from paddock to paddock or horse yard to horse yard.

Made from pressure treated FSC certified timber each stable block can be tailored to your requirements. Options include adding in a feed store, hay store, additional windows or even a tack room.

Our most popular range, Clipper mobile stables are available on galvanised metal or pressure treated timber skids. Economical, practical and available assembled at your location, or on a DIY kit self-assembly basis, providing perfect entry level movable stabling.

Robust timber framing, measuring 75mm x 50mm.
OS kickboarding lined to 1.2m (4′) high.
Choose from galvanised metal or pressure treated timber skids.
Supplied with a heavy-duty towing chain with two points located at both ends of mobile stable.
1.2m (4’) canopy fitted to front.
Guttering to front of mobile stable.
Mesh and perspex window as standard
Top and bottom stable door included, with galvanised chew stripping extending 15" down the top of the bottom stable door.
Clear Onduline roof sheet added for substantial additional light to rear.

Our Chart Range Mobile Stable offers several features over our Clipper Range, including increased building framing size, anti-chew-strips to the top door opening surround, a two-bladed louvred window with galvanised security bars and thicker kickboarding.

Thicker timber framing 100mm x 50mm (4' x 2')
Thicker OS kickboarding to 1.2m (4’) high.
Two-bladed louvre window, with a fixed Perspex lower section, with solid metal bars to the rear for added security.
Extended galvanised anti-chew strips, giving added protection.
A 1162mm x 864mm talk grille is fitted between stables.
150mm x 75mm timber skids (max size stable 7m x 3.6m). Galvanised metal skids 80mm x 80mm standard on larger sizes or option on small sizes.

Options

Our timber buildings are designed to your specification, so you can choose from a number of different options, including roofing, cladding, lining and features/fittings. Depending upon the range of building you choose, some of these options are included as standard and a few are only available on a particular specification/range.

Onduline is a tried-and-tested roofing material. Black Onduline is supplied as standard, but red, brown and green are also available.

Onduvilla is a popular alternative to Onduline but offers a tiled effect design. Available in black, shaded brown and shaded red.

Tapco looks just like Welsh slate but is manufactured from a recyclable blend of limestone & polypropylene. Tapco Slate will not break or delaminate.

Felt is a durable and economic way to weatherproof your timber building & are available in a choice of colours.

A smooth planed, rebated board that finishes with a grooved effect available in Ex 16mm x 150mm or Ex 19mm x 150mm nominal sizes.

A sawn tapered, overlapping board, available in Ex 22mm x 150mm or Ex 32mm x 175mm nominal sizes.

Weatherboard

OSB is a strong and durable lining material. Offered in differing sizes for lining throughout the Chart range.

OSB Lining

Available as an upgrade or option across our ranges is full and half height ply lining.

Ply Lining

Mobile field shelters and mobile stables are all fitted with a galvanised towing chain.

Anchoring points are positioned on either end of our mobile stables and field shelters.
